A former player of Sri Lanka National Women’s Chess Team. International rated, leading chess player and a professional coach with numerous International and National level achievements over two decades. Have represented Sri Lanka twice at World Chess Olympiads held in Spain and Slovenia. A Chartered Engineer in profession.

Chess Career:

  • Holds ‘Women Candidate Master (WCM)’ title offered by World Chess Federation (FIDE) since 2004
  • Active rated player with peak ELO 2000+ (International rating)

Represented Sri Lanka National Women's Chess team for following international events.

  • Mercantile Women's Chess Champion in 2019, 2018, 2014 and 2012. Runners up in 2020 and 2016 (Individual Performance)
