A former player of Sri Lanka National Women’s Chess Team. International rated, leading chess player and a professional coach with numerous International and National level achievements over a decade. Have represented Sri Lanka in many international and national level events.

Chess Career:

  • Holds “Women International Master” (WIM) title offered by the World Chess Federation (FIDE) since 2013; being the Second Sri Lankan and Youngest Sri Lankan to hold WIM title.
  • Active rated player with peak ELO 1768 (International Rating)
  • Captain of the Sri Lanka Women’s team at the Asian Youth Chess Championship in 2016
  • Member of Sri Lanka National Women’s Chess Team Pool for 7+ years. (2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019)
  • Captain of University of Sri Jayewardenepura Chess Team - 2022
